Beatrix Potter 50p coins listed on eBay for thousands of pounds
A Tom Kitten Beatrix Potter 50p coin is listed on eBay for £21,086.70, and a Benjamin Bunny version for £25,086.70.
Two Beatrix Potter-themed 50p coins are listed for sale on eBay at high prices: a Tom Kitten coin for £21,086.70 and a Benjamin Bunny coin for £25,086.70. Despite millions of Peter Rabbit-themed coins being produced, certain versions attract significant interest online, especially those in pristine condition or from limited releases. Gold proof versions are particularly sought after, with dealers generally valuing them between £1,800 and £2,200. The Royal Mint has cautioned that many eBay listings reflect sellers' expectations rather than guaranteed market value, and experts recommend collectors focus on recently sold prices and seek professional appraisals to determine accurate worth.
