Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldable phone is being discounted by £300 in the UK and $300 in the US ahead of Black Friday.

Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 8 foldable phone is available with significant discounts ahead of Black Friday in both the UK and US markets. In the UK, the phone has a £300 discount available with discount code 'NOV26', plus an additional £100 off when paying with PayPal and potential trade-in rebates of up to £713. In the US, Amazon and Best Buy are both offering the device for $1,599.99, a $300 reduction from its standard price. The 512GB model is also available for an additional $200 in the US.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 features a redesigned passport-style form factor that is shorter and wider than previous foldable models. It includes a 4,800mAh battery that reviewers found lasted a full day of use, and an interior screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio similar to iPad proportions. The device has an IP48 rating, meaning it offers some water resistance but requires care near water. It lacks a telephoto lens, though that feature is available on the pricier Z Fold 8 Ultra model.

In the UK, Samsung's Black Friday sale also includes discounts on other products such as premium TVs (up to £500 off), appliances, the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Samsung backs these offers with a Black Friday Price Promise, guaranteeing refunds if lower prices are found elsewhere before 1 December.
