Arla Protein Pudding products sold at Tesco and Sainsbury's are being recalled for possible glass contamination.

Multiple UK supermarkets have issued product recalls following safety concerns identified this week. The warnings cover food products, clothing and electronics pulled from stores.

Arla Food Ltd has recalled various Arla Protein Pudding products because they may contain glass. The affected items are Arla Protein Chocolate Flavoured Pudding 200g, Arla Protein Salted Caramel Flavoured Pudding 200g and Arla Protein Pudding Vanilla Cookie 200g. The recall applies to products with date codes between 11 January 2027 and 6 February 2027. These products have been sold in Tesco and Sainsbury's stores. Customers who have bought the affected items are advised to return them to any store without a receipt. Arla Food Ltd can be contacted on 01133 827009 or hello@arlafoods.com.

Asda is recalling several of its handbags due to chemical contamination. Subsequent testing identified that the products may contain phthalates at levels exceeding the permitted regulatory limit. The retailer stated that the products passed all required tests at the time of shipment, but the later testing revealed the issue. Phthalates including Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate are subject to regulatory restrictions because prolonged exposure above specified limits may pose potential health risks and possibly cause damage to the reproductive system. Asda has reported that no safety incidents have been reported to date. Customers who have purchased the bags should return them to their nearest Asda store for a full refund.

Aldi is recalling its Ambiano Ionic Hairdryers due to a high risk of electric shock.
