A motorcyclist from Basildon filmed a Ford Fiesta weaving across three lanes on the A13 in east London before colliding with another car on 8 October.

A south Essex motorcyclist captured footage of a Ford Fiesta weaving across lanes on the A13 in east London before crashing into another car and a barrier. Ziyaad Ibney Teemul, a 42-year-old from Basildon, recorded the incident at around 9am on 8 October as he rode along Newham Way towards work.

The footage shows the Fiesta speeding and moving from the fast lane into the middle lane before cutting across two more lanes of traffic. Mr Teemul said: 'I saw a Fiesta coming from the fast lane; it moved quickly into the middle lane, then changed across two more lanes. It hit a car in the final lane, then the Fiesta lost control and spun into the fast lane, coming to rest against the barrier.'

The impact caused both vehicles to spin, with the Fiesta's bonnet appearing badly crumpled. Mr Teemul continued on his way to work rather than stopping at the scene.

Mr Teemul said he did not see whether anyone was injured and could not confirm whether emergency services attended the scene. The London Ambulance Service was contacted for comment, and the Met Police could not comment on whether any arrests were made.
