Butlin's prepares to welcome 40,000 guests for 90th Christmas

Summarised from 2 outlets · Updated 4 Nov, 06:21 · Archive

Butlin's Bognor Regis is preparing to welcome more than 40,000 guests as it celebrates its 90th Christmas, with more than 4,000 guests expected to spend Christmas Day at the West Sussex resort. The resort will be transformed with festive shows, activities and entertainment throughout the season, all included in the price of breaks.

Mike Godolphin, entertainment director at Butlin's, said the resort offers a unique festive experience. 'The most wonderful time of the year is made extra special at Butlin's, with non-stop festive shows and activities,' he said. He highlighted that guests can use Splash Waterworld on Christmas Day and enjoy other activities rather than remaining indoors.

This year's programme includes two new festive shows: Christmas Rocks, featuring a live band reimagining Christmas classics, and a Robbie Williams tribute called Rock DJ. A pantomime performance of Jack and the Beanstalk will take place twice during each break in Studio 36, the resort's largest venue. The Father Christmas' Express Delivery experience, a 30-minute immersive experience in which guests can visit Father Christmas' Festive Grotto, is also returning and is included in the price of all festive breaks.
