Ulverston firefighters will wash cars on 25 October to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Ulverston Blue Light Hub will host a charity car wash on Sunday, 25 October between 12 noon and 4pm. Local firefighters will wash vehicles to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity, which supports active service personnel, former members and their families.

A spokesperson from the Hub said it would be 'a great day to meet the crew, get your car washed and all for a good cause'. The previous car wash held in March raised £736 for the national charity. That event also raised a further £100 for Ulverston in Bloom, who regularly maintain the garden at the fire station.
