The Milwaukee Brewers play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2026 National League Championship Series, a rematch after the Dodgers swept Milwaukee last year.

The Milwaukee Brewers face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 2026 National League Championship Series, a rematch after the Dodgers swept Milwaukee in last year's NLCS. Los Angeles went on to win the franchise's 26th National League pennant and ninth World Series championship. The Dodgers also eliminated the Brewers in the NLCS in 2018 and the wild-card round in 2020.

Christian Yelich said the Brewers had been expecting to face the Dodgers since spring training. "You kind of just know that's what's going to happen," Yelich said, noting the Dodgers' consecutive World Series titles and their large payroll compared to the small-market Brewers.

Game 1 on Sunday night features two strong pitchers: Tarik Skubal, a two-time Cy Young Award winner acquired by Los Angeles in an August 1 trade with Detroit, starts for the Dodgers. Jacob Misiorowski, the front-runner for the National League Cy Young Award, starts for Milwaukee.
