Ten-month-old chocolate Labrador Eddie seeks forever home

Summarised from 4 outlets · Updated 6 Nov, 07:25 · Archive

Eddie, a ten-month-old chocolate Labrador puppy, is available for adoption through Animal Rescue Cumbria. The shelter describes him as a handsome, clever young dog who enjoys using his brain and learning new things.

Staff at the rescue centre say Eddie still has much to learn and will need an owner committed to his ongoing training. Though he can be nervous when first encountering new situations, he quickly learns and gains confidence with time and encouragement.

The shelter emphasises that Eddie will need plenty of mental stimulation alongside physical exercise. He would benefit from training, enrichment activities and opportunities to learn new skills to keep him mentally occupied and help him channel his energy positively.

Eddie has previously lived with children and would be happy to do so again. He is looking for an active, loving home with someone who understands the needs of a young Labrador and has time to dedicate to his development.

With the right guidance and consistency, the shelter believes Eddie has the potential to become a wonderful companion. Prospective owners can visit the rescue centre's website to complete an adoption application.
