Model Jodie Kidd has described Jeremy Clarkson as highly intelligent and loyal, saying Clarkson's Farm shows a more realistic side of him than Top Gear did.

Model and TV presenter Jodie Kidd has praised Jeremy Clarkson more than two decades after appearing alongside him on Top Gear. The 48-year-old appeared on the show's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment in 2003, shortly after the BBC motoring programme was relaunched.

Speaking on the Cars & Money and Tom Hartley Cars podcast, Ms Kidd said Clarkson's Farm had allowed viewers to see a different side of Mr Clarkson. She said: 'I absolutely love him to death. He's not this big kind of buffoon that actually comes across. I think Clarkson's Farm has shown a more realistic side to him.'

Ms Kidd said that on Top Gear 'he always came across as playing a role, playing a persona, but he's not like that'. She described him as 'highly intelligent' with a 'brilliant mind' and said 'incredible thought processes go into every single special and every single show'. She praised him as 'incredibly loyal, a very good friend and just a brilliant person all round', adding that his family were 'just magic'.
