Costa Coffee will relocate its global and UK headquarters to St Albans from January 2027.

Costa Coffee will relocate its global and UK headquarters to St Albans, effective from January 1, 2027. The company currently operates offices in central London, Loudwater and Basildon, as well as two cafes in St Albans.

St Albans MP Daisy Cooper said she was 'delighted' that Costa Coffee is bringing its global headquarters to the area, describing it as recognition of the region's appeal as a place to work. She said the move will create new jobs and bring more footfall to local high streets.

Costa said the new St Albans site will serve as a central support centre for teams across the business to 'collaborate, and build the shared momentum that drives growth'. The company highlighted the office's proximity to transport links by train and car, being a short walk from the train station.
