Arlo's, a coffee shop in Bradford on Avon's Old Town Hall, is celebrating its first year in business.

Arlo's, based in Bradford on Avon's Old Town Hall, is celebrating its first anniversary after establishing a loyal following among local customers, commuters and their dogs. Owners Claudiu Olaneanu and James Eastland opened the coffee shop last year with the aim of creating a welcoming place where people could enjoy good coffee and relax. The response from residents has exceeded their expectations.

The owners say one of their biggest highlights has been watching first-time visitors become familiar faces who return week after week. "It's honestly quite surreal. When we opened the doors, our goal was simply to create a welcoming coffee shop that people would enjoy visiting," they said. "To now celebrating our first anniversary and seeing so many familiar faces returning week after week is something we are incredibly proud and grateful for."

Building a community around the independent business has been a key achievement. The pair said: "We've gone from welcoming new customers to greeting regulars by name and that's something special for us. Seeing locals, commuters, visitors and of course, their dogs, make Arlo's part of their routine has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey." The owners chose Bradford on Avon for the town's character and strong community spirit, with the historic Old Town Hall location proving a major attraction.
