Summarised from 2 outlets · Updated 15 Oct, 22:32 · Archive

The second day of the NSAA State Softball Tournament in Hastings, Nebraska has been postponed due to rain and poor field conditions. Games scheduled for Thursday, 15 October were suspended after a rain delay interrupted the 2 p.m. slate of matches.

Following consultation with the National Weather Service, coaches and athletic directors, the decision was made to call off the rest of the day's competition. The continued rain forecast for the area and the state of the fields made it unsafe to proceed.

The tournament will resume on Friday at 10 a.m., with additional information to be posted on NSAA social media.
