The Los Angeles Dodgers host the Atlanta Braves in an NLDS matchup scheduled to begin Saturday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting the Atlanta Braves in an NLDS matchup scheduled to begin Saturday. The Dodgers' bid to win three consecutive championships continues with this series.

Chris Sale, who pitched a complete-game shutout for the Braves against the Dodgers five weeks ago—striking out eleven batters and allowing only five hits—will not pitch for Atlanta in this series. The New York Post's experts predict the Dodgers will win in five games, attributing the outcome to the Dodgers' rotation and restocked bullpen. The opening game is forecast to be the hottest postseason game at Dodger Stadium since 2017.
