Augsburg's Robin Fellhauer scored after just eight seconds against Bayern Munich on Saturday, the fastest goal in Bundesliga history. The goal came from a mistake by Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who played a weak chip under pressure and allowed Fellhauer to dispossess him and finish. Fellhauer broke a record jointly held by Kevin Volland and Karim Bellarabi, who had both scored after nine seconds.

Bayern responded twice to draw 2-2. Ismael Saibari equalised after 55 minutes, but Augsburg went ahead again in the 64th minute when Neuer parried a shot from Calvin Brackelmann directly to Rodrigo Ribeiro, who tapped in. Nathaniel Brown secured the draw for Bayern with an equaliser in the 80th minute. Fellhauer said of his record goal: 'It's indescribable because you're part of something really big. Someone has to make up for those eight seconds now.'
