Nine people died when a Learjet crashed and exploded near West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday.

A Learjet flying from Austin, Texas to the Bahamas crashed and exploded near West Palm Beach, Florida on Sunday, killing all nine people on board. Among the dead were technology entrepreneur Adam Robinson, 45, his wife Helen Sharp, their children Emma, four, and Charlie, two, and Anita Maria Cetina, who cared for the children. The co-pilot, 20-year-old Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, was identified by her mother Camila Corteleti. Two other victims were named as Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr. The identity of the other pilot was not immediately disclosed.

Robinson was a co-founder of Robly, an email marketing platform, and founder of Retention.com, which connects e-commerce website visitors to their email addresses. The family lived in Aspen, Colorado. Recently, Robinson told the ProfitLed podcast that he felt he was 'living the dream', saying he valued being able to see his children in the morning and evening without frequent work travel.

Filgueiras earned her pilot's licence in 2023 when she was a 17-year-old senior at West Boca Raton Community High School. The families of the passengers issued a statement expressing their hearts were 'also with the families of the pilots, who are grieving alongside us'.
