One of two dogs stolen from Malvern has been found dumped on a bridge more than 10 miles away. Louis, a one-year-old dachshund, was discovered on Mythe Bridge in Tewkesbury by a runner on Friday morning. He was taken from the Three Counties Showground in Malvern between 9pm and 9.30pm on Wednesday night, along with Milo, a red saluki greyhound.

Louis's family said they were relieved to have one dog returned home but remained concerned about the other. 'This morning, we had the phone call that Louis had been found by a runner,' they said. 'He had been left on a bridge in Tewkesbury. He hasn't got a collar and he's a bit timid but he's coming back to himself now.'

The family expressed worry about Milo's whereabouts. 'We still haven't found the other one. It doesn't make sense. It makes you really concerned as to where Milo is. We just want him back where he belongs,' they said. West Mercia Police confirmed that they had received a report of the abduction and that enquiries were ongoing.
