League Two Fleetwood Town will host Premier League champions Arsenal in the EFL Cup fourth round on Tuesday.

League Two Fleetwood Town will host Premier League champions Arsenal in the Carabao Cup fourth round at Highbury on Tuesday night. The match will be televised.

Fleetwood manager Matt Lawlor called it an amazing night for the club and the town. The club has sold out the match for the first time in 11 or 12 years. Lawlor said his players need to be excited but show respect while avoiding fear. He told BBC Radio Lancashire: 'The champions are coming to town on our patch and it's on telly so if you can't get up for this game you can't get up for any game.'

Fleetwood currently sit 18th in League Two. They have beaten Chesterfield, Shrewsbury and Sheffield United to reach the fourth round. Lawlor described the tie as probably the biggest in the cup this round, saying glamour matches like this are rare for lower-league clubs.
