Leicester City fans criticise sponsor's porn actress ambassador

Summarised from BBC Leicester's report · Updated 5 Nov, 18:17 · Archive

Leicester City's shirt sponsor BC Game has appointed adult film actress Eva Elfie as a brand ambassador.

BC Game announced Eva Elfie as a brand ambassador on Tuesday, posting a social media video of her with a delivery driver and the caption 'Welcome to BC Game Eva Elfie! Let the fun begin.'

The Foxes Trust said it had already expressed discontent with BC Game being the club's front of shirt sponsor. In a statement titled 'BC Game - It gets worse', the trust said both gambling and pornography could have 'devastating impacts on people's lives, in particular young people'. The trust added that 'partnerships like these bring these two worlds to a larger audience and, by association, link them to Leicester City'.
