ABS Football Shirts has moved to larger premises on Dundas Street, freeing space for other traders at Dundas Indoor Market to expand.

ABS Football Shirts, popular with Middlesbrough fans, has moved from Dundas Indoor Market to a larger store on nearby Dundas Street. It is the shop's second move to larger premises in just over three years. The relocation has freed up space for other traders to expand their operations at the market.

Several businesses have taken advantage of the opportunity. The Hanger Shop, which sells handmade curtains and nets from Poland, moved into a bigger unit less than six months after opening. Amita Karda's Amita's Celestial Beauty, opened in 2023, has expanded to offer aesthetic treatments. Hair expert Lola Ayeni launched Dazzle Me in the market last year and has joined Ms Karda's business. John Hare's Millie's Memorials & Gifts has rebranded as Millie's Emporium and expanded. Baby Beautiful, which has traded at Dundas for a decade selling Reborn Baby Dolls and handmade accessories, has reopened ahead of Christmas.

David Harris, market manager at Dundas Indoor Market, said the move had created 'a real positive energy' at the market. He noted that traders provide 'products and services you can't find anywhere else', from guitar repair to superhero comics to a family butcher. The market offers an all-inclusive package covering rent, rates and utilities.
