Harrogate BID has launched a free Halloween Potion Trail running from 24 October to 1 November. The event invites families to explore Harrogate town centre during the October half-term, visiting 10 locations to collect clues and discover ingredients for an imaginary Harrogate-themed potion.

Participants can collect a trail map from The Crown Hotel or download one from the Harrogate BID website. Each stop on the trail reveals a potion ingredient, and completed maps can be returned to The Crown Hotel to claim a prize.

Bethany Allen, operations manager at Harrogate BID, said the trail is 'a fun and free way for families to explore the town, discover local businesses and enjoy a little Halloween magic along the way'. Dan Siddle, general manager of The Crown Hotel, added: 'We're delighted to once again be opening the doors of The Crown Hotel for our Halloween Trail, bringing a little seasonal magic to the heart of Harrogate.'
