A signed copy of Meghan Markle's children's book The Bench, allegedly given as a gift to Princess Eugenie, is being sold on eBay for £20,000.

A signed first edition of Meghan Markle's children's book The Bench, apparently inscribed as a personal gift to Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, has emerged for sale on eBay for almost £20,000. The seller, Drive Easy's Signed Books, claims the book was given to Prince Harry's cousin and her partner following the birth of their son August in 2021, and features what appears to be a warm handwritten message from the Duchess of Sussex.

The listing has raised questions about how the 'deeply personal' gift came to be sold publicly. The first edition carries a price tag of £20,000 and is listed as an authentic gift to Eugenie and Brooksbank.
