Health department asking people to check vaccination status after three measles cases confirmed

The Marathon County Health Department is monitoring individuals impacted by the virus along with their close contacts. According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, two doses of the MMR vaccine are 97% effective and provide long-lasting protection against all strains of measles.
