A gilt-bronze Louis Napoleon table suite from Skibo Castle, the former home of Andrew Carnegie, will be auctioned at Tennants Auctioneers' Autumn Fine Sale on November 14. The suite, crafted by renowned artist Ferdinand Barbedienne, comprises 34 pieces housed in seven brass-bound, fitted wooden cases. It includes a jardinière centrepiece marked with the Bourbon arms, four candelabra, and numerous comports, with an estimated value of £180,000 to £250,000.

The sale features several other significant gilt-bronze pieces. These include a Napoleon III Gilt-Bronze Garniture of Three Centrepieces by Monbro Ainé, estimated at £35,000 to £45,000, and a Napoleon III Gilt-Bronze jardinière by Christofle & Cie, expected to fetch £25,000 to £35,000.
