Summarised from 2 outlets · Updated 15 Oct, 21:44 · Archive

Comedian Rob Beckett was murdered by the Traitors in episode five of The Celebrity Traitors 2026 during a game of hide and seek in the woods. James Acaster, Maya Jama and Hannah Fry, the current line-up of Traitors, decided to murder Beckett to spread 'chaos' round the castle, sparing Ross Kemp and Romesh Ranganathan from death.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock had been given a safety key by her fellow Faithfuls Kemp, Beckett and Ranganathan. Upon learning of his murder, Beckett said: 'It's over. I'm a dead man. And in a way this is good news for the Faithfuls because I was nowhere near getting Maya Jama and James Acaster. No chance! My boy Romesh Ranganathan will avenge my death!'

The episode also saw another celebrity recruited as a Traitor and one banished from the castle. The remaining contestants gathered at breakfast the following morning as Faithfuls struggled to work out the Traitors' strategy. The show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, airs at 8pm BST on ITV, with the final scheduled for Friday, 30 October.
