Australian boxer Nikita Tszyu will make his US debut on December 5 in Arizona with an undefeated record.

Australian boxer Nikita Tszyu will make his US debut on 5 December at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona. The 28-year-old Sydney fighter will appear on a blockbuster card headlined by David Benavidez against Michal Cieslak. The bout takes place at the same venue where Tszyu's father, his legendary namesake, won his last fight.

Tszyu holds a professional record of 12 wins and one draw, with ten knockouts. His opponent for the Arizona fight has not yet been announced, with No Limit Boxing set to reveal details within the next week. Tszyu said he has experience fighting without advance notice of his opponent, having had over 30 amateur fights on this basis.

Tszyu has never faced easy routes in his career. He defeated six previously unbeaten fighters in his first eight professional bouts, then added previously undefeated Lulzim Ismaili and Spaniard Oscar Diaz to his record. Most recently, he fought undefeated Ben Mahoney to a controversial split draw in Brisbane in August, his first 12-round bout.

Tszyu said he welcomes the challenge of fighting on a non-No Limit card for the first time and appearing as a non-headliner. 'That's the whole point. I need to learn to be uncomfortable,' he said. 'Everything's been tailored. So this is a completely new experience for me and that's what we need.'
