Police are investigating a burglary at Dick's Bar in Norwich on 24 September in which around £200 to £300 of alcohol was stolen.
Police are investigating a burglary at Dick's Bar in Norwich after the city centre bar was targeted on 24 September. Staff found the front door smashed in on the morning of 24 September, with a burglar having entered the property at 2.30am and stolen around £200 to £300 worth of alcohol.
Co-owner Tom Ginn said he was called in the early hours by a bin man and had to pay around £500 to replace the glass in the door before the bar opened at 10.30am to avoid losing a day of business. He explained this is the third instance of someone breaking in to steal from their business in as many years since the café and bar opened in 2023.
'It's getting really annoying and each time something like this has happened, we have had to fork out the money for repairs,' Ginn said. Norfolk Constabulary confirmed the force is still investigating the incident and urged anyone with information or CCTV footage to get in touch quoting reference 36/72030/26.
