Jeremy Clarkson has received a commemorative award from Penguin to mark his 25th book published with them.

Jeremy Clarkson has been recognised with a special award from Penguin to mark a major publishing milestone as he releases his latest farming book, The Goat. The former Top Gear presenter revealed on Instagram that this is the 25th title he has published with the publisher. In a video filmed in front of a helicopter, Clarkson shared the news while holding a commemorative mini trophy gift from his publisher.

Dressed in his trademark checked shirt and brown jacket, Clarkson told fans: 'Good news, my new book is out. It's called The Goat, and this is the 25th book that I have published with Penguin. To mark the occasion, they have presented me with a present. It's very light, and I love the inscription: Jeremy Clarkson, No.1 author of farming books.'

The new book promises another dose of chaos and comedy from life at Diddly Squat, where Clarkson has spent recent years documenting the highs and lows of farming. A description of The Goat teases more mishaps involving 'uncooperative animals, underperforming crops, and rather less than best-laid plans pursued with unbridled enthusiasm'. Since launching Clarkson's Farm on Amazon Prime Video, the broadcaster has become an unlikely champion of British agriculture, attracting a huge following.
