Albert Pisani went missing in October 1986 near Moe, Victoria; his remains were found in a shallow grave a year later.

Albert Pisani was last spotted in October 1986 around Moe, Victoria, where he was due to use a bank before returning home to his partner and five children. He was reported missing on 15 October after his family realised he had not returned, although they were not initially worried as he regularly travelled.

His remains were discovered in bushland in Driffield in June 1987, approximately 20km from where he went missing. Police believe he was met with foul play and have established a $1,000,000 reward for information to identify those involved in his death.

His sister Karen Pisani said she still lives in fear of the unsolved crime. She explained that Albert's death had a profound impact on the family: their mother Mary died in 2016 after suffering significantly from what the family describes as his murder.

Detective Inspector David Dunstan from the Victoria Police Missing Persons Squad said Albert's killer remains at large and urged anyone with information to come forward. He noted that 40 years is a long time for the family to be without answers or for justice to be provided.
