Summarised from 3 outlets · Updated 23 Oct, 10:58 · Archive

Jeweller Beaverbrooks is reopening its Lakeside Shopping Centre store on 4 November after a £1.4 million refurbishment that more than doubled its size.

Jeweller Beaverbrooks is reopening its refurbished Lakeside Shopping Centre store on Wednesday, 4 November after more than doubling its size. The store has expanded from 1,076 sq ft to 2,628 sq ft, a 144 per cent increase. The £1.4 million investment is Beaverbrooks' largest store investment of 2026.

The store, which has been at Lakeside for 31 years, will feature a dedicated TAG Heuer area among new additions. It will be the only Beaverbrooks store to stock Monica Vinader jewellery, alongside brands including Coach and D. Louise. The retailer's own ranges will include the Beyond Brilliance diamond collection, the True by Beaverbrooks traceable diamond collection and a new lab-grown diamond range.

Anna Blackburn, managing director at Beaverbrooks, said the project is part of a wider plan to invest in its shops. 'We're proud to be future proofing our estate by continually investing where there's opportunity,' she said. Branch manager Ella Hurley added that the store is opening 'just in time for our customers to enjoy great Black Friday savings and those special Christmas purchases'.

To mark the reopening, shoppers can take part in a 'Spin the Wheel' giveaway from 6 to 8 November, with more than £2,500 worth of jewellery and gift cards up for grabs.
