Four-year-old terrier Bonzo seeks active family home

Summarised from 4 outlets · Updated 7 Nov, 07:14 · Archive

Bonzo, a four-year-old terrier in Animal Rescue Cumbria's care, is looking for an active family.

Bonzo, a four-year-old terrier, is looking for his forever home with Animal Rescue Cumbria in Cumbria. The shelter describes him as 'cute as a button and bright as they come' and a 'very clever boy' who thrives when kept mentally and physically active.

The shelter said Bonzo is well suited to an active family. 'Bonzo can find new situations a little scary, so he'll need a loving and understanding family who can help him explore the world at his own pace, gradually building his confidence with new experiences,' staff stated. He has lived with children before without any issues and is great with them.

There are some restrictions on his living situation. He is best suited to a home without cats or small animals, though he could potentially live with another dog if introductions go well. The shelter wants to ensure he finds a suitable match.

Animal Rescue Cumbria expressed confidence in Bonzo's potential. 'Bonzo is a lovely little chap with so much to offer and, with the right family by his side, we're sure he'll make a wonderful companion,' they said.

Prospective adopters can apply through the Animal Rescue Cumbria website. The organisation emphasises that Bonzo needs a family willing to help him build confidence as he experiences new situations at his own pace.
