Summarised from 4 outlets · Updated 5 Nov, 07:26 · Archive

Nine-week-old Nelly, a black and white kitten, is being cared for by Animal Rescue Cumbria and seeking adoption. The shelter describes her as energetic, curious, confident and full of affection. She is playful and loves chasing toys and exploring her surroundings.

Staff at the shelter said Nelly is 'full of energy, curiosity, and charm' and 'ready to bring plenty of fun, happiness, and affection to her new family'. They noted that 'whether she's racing around the room, playing with her favourite toys or settling down for a cuddle, Nelly is guaranteed to put a smile on your face'.

Nelly could happily live in a home with children and other animals. She may enjoy exploring the outdoors as she grows older but would also thrive as an indoor cat if given plenty of stimulation and activities. The shelter emphasises that 'with her loving nature and playful spirit, Nelly would make a fantastic family pet'.

Prospective adopters can submit an application form through the Animal Rescue Cumbria website to offer Nelly a home.
