Trent Rivers, traded to West Coast, remains the face of Melbourne's 2027 calendar.

Trent Rivers has been traded to West Coast Eagles in a deal that also brought Jack Viney to Melbourne, ending his seven-year spell with the Demons. Rivers, who won the premiership in his second season at the club in 2022, said it was a dream to join his childhood team. "Putting on the jersey today, I got a little bit excited," he said after touring the Eagles facilities. "Seeing inside the four walls is pretty special."

Despite his departure, Melbourne have not updated their merchandise. Rivers remains the face of their official 2027 calendar, available from the AFL store for £19.99, featuring on the cover between Max Gawn and Kysaiah Pickett.

Melbourne have also yet to clear stock of other former players. Bobbleheads for Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca, both of whom left the club at the end of 2025, remain available at discounted prices.
