Manchester indie rock band The Courteeners have announced they will headline Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday, June 12, 2027. The show will feature special guests The Coral and Seb Lowe.

The band previously played a sold-out crowd at the venue in 2021. Julian Murray of promoters Cuffe and Taylor said: 'We're really excited to be welcoming Courteeners back to Scarborough next summer. They were a huge hit when they played to a sold-out crowd here in 2021, so it's great to have them back and give fans another chance to see them live.'

The Courteeners have released seven studio albums and sold more than one million albums in the UK since their 2008 debut album St. Jude. Their last five albums all reached the UK Top 5, and in 2023, St. Jude reached Number One on the charts, 15 years after its original release. The band's back catalogue includes songs such as Not Nineteen Forever, Cavorting, and Are You In Love With A Notion?
