Andy and Kim Murray will star in a new Channel 4 series documenting the renovation of their five-star Cromlix Hotel near Dunblane.

Sir Andy Murray and his wife Kim will star in a new Channel 4 series titled Our Scottish Hotel, which documents the transformation of Cromlix, their five-star country house hotel near Dunblane where the tennis star grew up. The couple purchased the 19th century estate in 2013 and have spent over a decade developing it into one of Scotland's most celebrated luxury destinations.

The three-part observational series was filmed over almost an entire year and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the couple and their 80-strong team. It follows major renovation work including a new wing and two new restaurants, with the hotel closing for five months to allow the most extensive transformation to take place. The couple describe it as their biggest financial gamble since acquiring the property.

Kim Murray, who leads the creative direction of the hotel, said: 'The last couple of years have been really full of change at Cromlix with a huge building project and a totally new direction for fine dining and wellness.' She added: 'I've loved shaping this building and estate into what's now become a really thriving and much-loved Scottish business.' The couple married at the estate in 2015.

Channel 4 has yet to confirm an air date for the series.
