The festive party experience HUMBUG is returning to Greenwich Borough Hall from December 4 to 24, 2026.
The festive party experience HUMBUG is returning to Greenwich Borough Hall for the 2026 Christmas season, running from Friday, December 4 to Thursday, December 24. Tickets start from £18.50. The event combines a stage show with a festive party atmosphere, featuring live music, themed cocktails and interactive games.
This year's narrative centres on Santa Claus discovering a love of rock and roll and abandoning his traditional Christmas duties to join house band Johnny Whiskey & The Barflies. Guests attend Santa's festive bash but are secretly tasked with persuading him to return to delivering presents and save Christmas. Throughout the evening, audiences participate in games, challenges and singalongs while enjoying live performances from Santa and the band.
If successful, the night concludes with a festive dancefloor celebration before Santa returns to his Christmas duties. Organisers say returning visitors can expect features that have made the show popular, including live music, themed cocktails, audience participation and a 'shrine to Mariah'. The production team has previously worked on experiences including The Crystal Maze, Tokyo Nights, Backyard Cinema, The Traitors: Live Experience and Punchdrunk's Viola's Room.
