Leeds midfielder Ao Tanaka says the team are hungry for victory against Bournemouth, who have won their last five games.

Ao Tanaka has admitted Leeds United's start to the season exceeded his expectations, but the midfielder says the squad are not satisfied and hungry for more. Leeds sit seventh after eight games with 11 points, having won just twice but lost only once, with four games without victory.

They face an in-form Bournemouth side who have won five consecutive games, including victories over Manchester United and AC Milan, whilst scoring 13 goals and conceding none. Tanaka said Bournemouth were a strong team with quality players and tactics, describing the match as 'a massive challenge' and 'a massive game' for Leeds.

Tanaka has started each of the last six Premier League games and contributed to Leeds' start. He assisted Jayden Bogle's opener in a 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion, and his deflected shot led to the opener in a 4-1 win over Newcastle United. Leeds have not won since that Newcastle victory.
