Josh Kangley walked from Omaha to Lincoln along the MoPac Trail in a multi-day journey through wind and rain to raise awareness of Regina Bos, who vanished from Duggan's Pub in Lincoln 26 years ago. The walk ends on Saturday at the pub where Bos was last seen.

Kangley hosts a podcast called 'Keeping the Light On', which focuses on Nebraska's missing persons cases. He said 'every case matters' regardless of how long ago it occurred. Kangley has worked closely with Bos' sister, Jannel Rap, an advocate for her sister and missing people across the world. Rap founded the GINA for Missing Persons foundation, which is based in southern California.

Bos disappeared on 17 October 2000 and remains missing. She is the oldest unsolved missing persons case for the Lincoln Police Department. In 2024, Rap and the foundation supported a bill by Lincoln State Senator Danielle Conrad that made 17 October Nebraska Missing Persons Day. Rap and families of Nebraska's missing people plan to meet with Kangley on Saturday to finish the walk in Bos' honour.
