A dog-friendly farm café near Wymondham has reduced its winter opening hours to help owners achieve better work-life balance.
The Farm Café at Centre Paws, located on Barnards Farm near Wymondham, has adjusted its opening times to help owners achieve better work-life balance during the darker months. The café, which offers dog grooming, training, agility and enclosed exercise fields, now opens from 10am to 2pm on weekdays and from 10am to 3pm at weekends. This schedule will remain in place until March.
Tom Boggan, who runs the café, said the decision was prompted by the darker nights and wet weather associated with winter. He noted that reducing hours while remaining open seven days a week was preferable to closing completely on two days. Boggan added: 'With Jes and me trying to get a bit more home life balance, the choice was either we close two days a week or slightly earlier, keeping seven days, so we feel this was the best option.'
