Learning with Experts has launched a membership scheme offering access to over 100 online courses.
Learning with Experts, an Oxford-based digital education provider, has launched a new membership scheme called Learning for Life. The membership gives users access to more than 100 expert-led, CPD-accredited online courses across a wide range of subjects including cookery, health and wellbeing, gardening, photography, floristry, art and design.
The membership includes over 600 on-demand lessons, 500 assignments and 2,000 hours of learning content. It was developed in response to customer feedback requesting the flexibility to explore multiple subjects without purchasing individual courses.
Founder and CEO Elspeth Briscoe said: 'We want to make lifelong learning a real possibility for more adults.' She added that for the cost of a single course elsewhere, members can have a whole year to explore new interests and build skills. Unlike traditional online learning platforms that rely heavily on passive video content, Learning for Life emphasises active, hands-on learning, with participants completing practical assignments and collaborating in online classrooms.
The launch comes amid declining adult engagement in learning, with only 21 per cent of UK adults currently participating in any form of education.
