ITV is reportedly bringing back the dating show Take Me Out after seven years away, with a new female presenter.

ITV is reportedly bringing back Take Me Out after seven years away from screens. The dating show originally ran for 11 series from 2010 to 2019, hosted by Paddy McGuinness. The new version will have a different presenter, with producers seeking a 'glamorous female' to attract new audiences.

Those being considered include presenters Olivia Attwood and Emily Atack, along with model Leomie Anderson. According to reports, Attwood and Atack are among the favourites due to their 'quick wit and timing', though Maya Jama was also considered. Jama's links to Love Island reportedly made that option complicated.

Producers at Fremantle, the production company behind the reboot, want to maintain the show's 'cheeky tone' from the original format. The show featured a single man trying to impress a panel of 30 women. Each woman could turn off her podium light if uninterested. If lights remained on at the end, the bachelor would choose one woman for a date to the fictional 'Isle of Fernando's', filmed in Tenerife.
