A community arts exhibition in York is returning for its third year on 31 October with more than 60 entries.
The Arts, Craft and Photography Exhibition will return to York on 31 October for its third year. Held at Foxwood Community Centre from 10.30am to 3pm, the event will feature more than 60 entries from artists, photographers and makers of all ages and abilities, organised by the Foxwood Residents Association.
As well as the main exhibition, visitors can support two charity displays. Pink for Margaret, created by the Foxycrafters, will raise funds for York Against Cancer. Silver Crafters, a collection of handmade items, will be sold in aid of St Leonard's Hospice.
Neil Butterworth, organiser, said the event last year was 'a tremendous success', attracting several hundred visitors. 'The quality and number of entries we've received demonstrate the incredible artistic talent that exists within our local community,' he said. A small number of exhibit spaces remain available for anyone interested in taking part.
