Trump to appear at Nebraska tele-rally ahead of midterms

Summarised from 2 outlets · Updated 30 Oct, 01:09 · Archive

President Trump will be a special guest at a telephone-based rally in Nebraska as midterm elections approach.

President Trump will be a special guest at a tele-rally in Nebraska hosted by MAGA Inc., with the exact date yet to be released. The telephone-based rally is part of a broader strategy as Trump has cancelled in-person rallies in Iowa and Kansas, opting instead for phone-based events in several states.

The tele-rally comes less than a week before the midterm elections. Trump previously visited Grand Island in Nebraska earlier this month, and Vice President J.D. Vance visited North Platte in October. Trump is scheduled to hold an in-person rally in Florida on Friday.

Both of Nebraska's key races remain competitive in the traditionally Republican state. U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts faces independent candidate Dan Osborn, whilst Governor Jim Pillen faces Democratic candidate Lynne Walz.
