Prince Harry says he wants to reconcile with King Charles and William

Summarised from 2 outlets · Updated 20 Oct, 16:38 · Archive

Prince Harry has said reconciliation with King Charles and Prince William is now the most important thing.

Prince Harry has told GQ magazine that he wants to 'reconcile' with his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William. The Duke of Sussex said repairing family relations was now the 'most important thing'. He told the magazine: 'Some people don't want it to work out. I want it to work out. With everything else that's going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile. That's the key point.'

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, returned to Britain with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet this summer. Reports have suggested the Sussex family has chosen the Cotswolds as its UK base, although the couple has not publicly confirmed the exact location of their home. The couple previously rented a country home in Oxfordshire during the early years of their relationship and marriage before moving to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

The Sussexes stepped back as senior working members of the Royal Family in 2020 and subsequently moved to California. Despite their return to Britain, Buckingham Palace has said there will be no change to the couple's status as non-working royals. Their children have begun attending school in Britain following the family's return.
