Genesis Health + Fitness has opened a dedicated recovery centre at its Belmont location in Perth's east.

Recovery at Genesis Belmont was officially unveiled on 10 October as a new wellness hub in Perth's east. The facility is the fitness brand's first dedicated recovery space in Western Australia and the fifth such centre nationwide.

The recovery hub offers members red light therapy, infrared sauna, massage chairs, massage guns and recovery boots stations. It complements the existing Genesis Belmont site, which already provides workout spaces, Reformer Pilates classes and Coaching Zone group training sessions.

According to Genesis Health + Fitness franchisee Josh Pirone, there is growing demand for recovery services in Australia, with more members seeking memberships that reflect recovery as part of their fitness routine. CEO Ian Jensen–Muir said the new addition was designed to provide members with all necessary tools in one place, supporting their evolving health and fitness goals. Genesis Health + Fitness, which launched in Victoria in 1997, now operates 40 locations nationally.
