Reform UK's Luke Campbell, mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire, is under police investigation for allegedly showing naked pictures of himself to a female colleague.

Reform UK's Luke Campbell, an Olympic champion boxer who became the first elected mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire in May 2025, is under police investigation for allegedly showing a senior female colleague four naked and sexualised images of himself.

According to documents obtained by The Observer, the incident took place in an office in central Hull in May 2026. Campbell allegedly called the colleague over to his desk and showed her the images on his computer. A witness confirmed seeing Campbell and two other male colleagues ushering a female officer to look at his laptop, on which was described as 'a naked man with a tattoo'. Other alleged incidents involved Campbell lowering his trousers' waistband to show a tan line and revealing a tattoo on his lower abdomen to a woman.

The female colleague says she was left feeling 'shocked, embarrassed, and humiliated', and alleges that Campbell laughed at her reaction. She claims she was 'deliberately exposed to naked and sexualised images involving the mayor in the workplace, without my consent' and that this created 'a humiliating, degrading and offensive working environment'.

Approximately three weeks after the alleged incident, the woman was informed via an eight-minute Teams call that her permanent job offer had been withdrawn. She had only recently accepted the role. It is understood Campbell denies the allegations.
