Comedian Ricky Gervais has announced a UK live tour in 2027, including a show at Oxford's New Theatre on 26 July.

Ricky Gervais has announced a UK live tour for 2027, bringing his new stand-up show Legend to George Street's New Theatre in Oxford on 26 July. The tour will run from autumn 2026 until the end of 2027, when the show will be filmed for Netflix as his fifth stand-up special for the streaming service, following Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon and Mortality.

Gervais described the upcoming show as his 'most personal so far', saying 'because both cancel culture and most people I knew growing up are dead, I can really say what the f*ck I want now.' Netflix has acquired Legend for an undisclosed amount. Gervais commented: 'I'm not saying how much they're paying me this time, but I can say it's my favourite deal so far.'

The comedian will donate a portion of ticket sales proceeds to charity. His previous Mortality tour, which visited the New Theatre Oxford in October 2024, raised £2.43 million for animal charities worldwide by its end in 2025. His earlier specials Armageddon and Mortality both won Golden Globes for Stand-Up Comedy on Television.
