The annual Santa Special tractor run will take place on 5 December, starting in Ulverston and finishing in Askam.

The Furness and District Tractor Run's annual Santa Special will take place on 5 December. It will start at Ulverston Auction Mart at 5pm and finish at Askam Rugby Club at around 8.20pm, passing through Little and Great Urswick, Lindal, Dalton and Barrow.

Organisers Karen Higgs and Alan Irving said the event would 'kick off Christmas in style'. They encouraged spectators to 'come along and support a worthy cause with a fantastic range of festive tractors' touring the Furness area.

Proceeds will go to St Mary's Hospice, which received £9,893 from the event in 2025. The tractor run has raised more than £100,000 since it began in 2019. Higgs and Irving said they were hoping to 'build on this momentum' in December.

Askam Rugby Club, which is hosting the finish, said it was 'delighted' to be part of the event. The club's bar will be open from 6pm.
