The Savannah Bananas are taking Banana Ball to Canada and Mexico for the first time in 2027.

The Savannah Bananas announced their most ambitious schedule yet during the Banana Ball City Selection Show, taking their barnstorming baseball entertainment internationally for the first time in 2027. The league will play stops in Monterrey and Tijuana in Mexico during February, as well as Rogers Centre in Toronto and visits to Winnipeg in August. In the United States, Banana Ball will feature games in 23 Major League Baseball stadiums, 10 football stadiums and 33 minor league stadiums throughout the year.

Walt Disney World will host Banana Ball at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from April 15-18, with all six teams in the Banana Ball Championship League competing. Standard tickets start at $35, and fans can enter an online lottery system to purchase seats before 31 October. The championship final will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on 25 September.

Banana Ball owner Jessie Cole told the Associated Press he could not have imagined the league's popularity when he launched the Savannah Bananas in 2016. The league is known for entertainment-focused play, including pitchers on stilts and fans counting as outs when they catch foul balls. The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown opened an exhibit for the Savannah Bananas in 2023, recognising the success in attracting younger fans.
