Actor Sebastian Croft and comedian Romesh Ranganathan won the BBC gameshow Celebrity Traitors, securing £83,000 for their chosen charities.

Sebastian Croft, the Heartstopper actor also known as Bash, and comedian Romesh Ranganathan won the second season of The Celebrity Traitors on Friday. The pair triumphed as representatives of the Faithfuls after two Traitors were banished on the final day, securing an £83,000 prize pot for their chosen charities.

Croft is donating his £41,500 share to Choose Love, formerly known as Help Refugees, which supports refugees and displaced people worldwide through emergency aid and long-term assistance. Emma Stevenson, acting chief executive officer of Choose Love, said the funding would "quite literally change and save lives" and allow the organisation to extend critical support to refugees and displaced people, particularly LGBTQ+ individuals facing displacement, violence and persecution.

Ranganathan is giving his share to the Refugee Council, which supports people fleeing war, violence and persecution in Britain. However, Ranganathan has since admitted he felt conflicted about the final round. During an appearance on The One Show, he said he felt "really bad" about events that unfolded, though he clarified that his friendship with fellow finalist James Blunt remained intact.
