Al Hassan Toure scored a hat-trick as Sydney FC defeated winless Central Coast 4-1 at Allianz Stadium on Friday night. The one-cap Socceroo completed a first-half brace before scoring again in the 50th minute. Gabriel Popovic came off the bench in the 83rd minute and added a second goal two minutes later.

Central Coast's Oli Lavale scored a penalty in the final minute of added time after defender Ben Garuccio fouled midfielder John-Kymani Gordon in the box. The goal denied Sydney a clean sheet.

The victory marked Sydney's second win of the season, leaving them second ahead of the weekend's games. It was also the first time Sydney had put together back-to-back wins at Allianz Stadium since the 2023/24 season. Central Coast dropped to 11th place and remain hunting their first win under new coach John Hutchinson.
